About 25 minutes out of Egilsstadir city center, beautiful Mountain View, cabin is clean and roomy for 3 of us, it can fit 4 adults comfortably. All staffs were very nice and the service was great!
Very quiet location. The staff made an effort to make us feel welcome. The surroundings are great too. We were happy that they also offered dinner and breakfast service.
Note that the location shown on Expedia is not where the hotel is but it’s rather a 30 min drive from egilstadir. Check Google Maps for the correct location along route 917
We stayed in one of the cabins and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. Comfortable accommodations. The area is beautiful and quiet. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. We only stayed 1 night on our trip around the ring road but we would have been comfortable staying here much longer.
Great place to stay. Staff are all kind and wonderful. Only frustration is that price for breakfast advertised on Expedia is very wrong and is actually over double. 30.000+ vs 15.000 ISK.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a very comfortable stay. Road to the hotel is gravel and that’s the only negative point about this hotel.
It was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was a bit warm and there were no screens on the windows, so we had to close the windows so bugs wouldn't come in. It was clean and the staff were very good .
Easy to find - easy to check-in, nice room and WC very close-by. The provided breakfast set the bar for all the guesthouses we stayed in, with a greater variety of options - easy to get more than needed, as there were so many great things to choose from.
