My partner and I rented a cabin for the solar eclipse. Overall, we loved the property and the lakeside view but we did have some minor critiques that would bring our 4 stars up to a 5. We feel that adding basic kitchen necessities would go a long way (ie coffee and tea, tissues, and or paper towels, salt and pepper). There was a lack of privacy due to the near transparency of the blinds in the main bedroom - a curtain would prevent this. We felt the sheets weren’t the best quality (felt a bit rough) and there was no additional blankets in the main bedroom. Further, there wasn’t really a place to hang jackets (save for the hooks on the bathroom door and the rod in the main bedroom). I found that the wifi was far too slow and I’m not sure why that was. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and we would recommend this property.

Thank you for your kind review:). We hope to see you again. We do have salt and pepper as well as coffee machine and filters, if not, please ask. All you need to bring is your own coffee. We try to provide as much privacy as possible, adding curtains to the blinds may help as well, so thank you:). We will be adding more hanging options / hooks in all cabins. Thank you again!

Connecting cabin was extremely noisy, doors were slammed we could here stomping and unable to sleep all night. There was orange peels and other trash on the ground scattered throughout the parking lot. ( not exactly welcoming) Overall the cabin wasn't bad in cleanliness as we were there for small getaway. Wasn't to impressed by the noise. Limited parking for the amount of cabins as well. I was impressed that there was charging station for tesla though. Perhaps might be a better experience during summer months, unsure.

Hello, we are sorry to hear about your negative experience with the loud guests next door. We would have spoke to them and handled the problem if it was brought to our attention at the time. Yes, someone did eat an orange in the parking lot. We cleaned it up for them. Thank you for your feedback :)

The cabins are cute, with updated kitchens and clean. We have a nice view of the lake. Since we are here in March, we would like to come back when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the nice porch.

We'd go here again. It was comfortable and clean. Convenient to dining and shops. Had a heavy snow when we arrived so parking lot was tricky even with our truck. WiFi didn't work but had good cell service.

Lovely place friendly people!
Upon arrival there was no one at the office, but a cleaning lady got in touch with management for us and got us all situated! Beautiful place but not much to do at this time of year. The bathroom was not too clean i had brought cleaning wipes and cleaned the toilet. I wished there were light posts in the evening as it was really dark going down the path to our cabine.

Really loved everything about it except for the fact that we couldn’t get the tv to work. Didn’t really want to bother the host with it as we arrived late both nights. Had trouble finding it/bigger signs maybe?? Overall, felt right at home and truly enjoyed it!

Edinboro is a nice little college town and if your child goes there, this is a nice pet friendly place to stay.

Loved the little cabin. Very private. The property is lovely with benches, chairs and swing overlooking the water. There are fir pits, kayaks rentals and a fabulous outdoor restaurant right beside. Would definitely stay here again

We were in communication with the office by text (they only text) during the day, and they told us which cabin we would be in. After driving all day we arrived at about 10pm and someone was inside our assigned cabin. The office has no phone number to call. We texted but the office but nobody responded. We had to drive to a hotel 30 minutes away. The office still has not responded to us about what happened. Terrible communication. Would never try to stay here again.

Beware of lack in security
Our stay was fine until we were robbed. Our car was broken into, taken for a joy ride, and delivered back to the property. When we called the resort office they did absolutely nothing for us other than "Sorry, we don't have security cameras." We called the police, that took an hour to come to the scene and was told "slim to none that we will find the guys." But that was really to be expected, the worse part of the whole ordeal was the resort never, NEVER reached out to us to see if we were able to get the police or to see if we were ok. I have never stayed at a facility that lacked the most common human decency to check on their occupants. Even an simple "I am sorry this happened", would have went a long way.

Was just passing through town for the night, but great value for what I paid, although I didn’t use many amenities. Very clean. Nice little casual restaurant on the water, The Sunset Grill, friendly service and decent food. Never saw a host, check-in done via text and all requests are via text - which I didn’t mind. I’m sure it may be different for folks staying here in excess of 3 nights. The host still managed to be friendly and attentive to requests regardless of their absence. Would and already have recommended this little place to a few friends - it’s cute.

We stay in many hotels/apartments in many different places and dependability as well as reliability are important. We were very hopeful this would be a good experience from all of the reviews we read. The property desires to be no contact with the residents, this is great if there are no issues. The wifi did not work for our personal devices to connect to. The text support said they were coming to help us with this issue but never showed up or responded again after saying they were coming. Also, the television in the bedroom did not work. No response was received regarding this also. If your preferred method of helping residents is only by texts, please be responsible to take care of issues with your property when they require hands on support.

Awesome stop on the way home
Check in was seamless even with us arriving very late. Cabin was awesome, kids were thrilled with the bunks beds & loft. Sad we were only there for one night, we’ll need to find a reason to come back!
