"It looks like they are working on a remodel. Our room was dirty and in desperate need. We put a pool towel over the chair so we would feel clean enough to sit on it. We put a towel on the floor to cover up what looked like scraped up vomit. The lampshades were worn and written on with black marker. Stained carpets, dirty paint, holes in blankets, worn out pillows and beds."

"parking gate pass did not work. limited coffee in room. Small ,noisy room. Ice machine blarred all night. window fogged, hazy could not see outside. toilet barely flushed. very poor value for high price. "

"One of the worst places I've stayed: - Parking lot full of potholes - People smoking everything right outside the front door and you have to walk through the smoke to get in. - Ice machines leaking all over - Carpets stained throughout - We had a blanket covered in a red stain. Blood? Lipstick? Something else? - When we called to ask for another blanket they wouldn't bring it to us. We had to come down for it. Then they gave us a sheet. - Tub faucet leaking - Crumbs under the bed and floor. We found someone's electronics from a prior visit so the room had not been vacuumed or checked. - Coffee tasted like sludge - We stayed two nights and on the second day everybody's door card key stopped working. Everyone needed to get their key reprogrammed multiple times. - Trash overflowing in breakfast room. It was never emptied. - We walked by someone checking in to their room, gagged, and said, "It smells like someone died in there." - And throughout our stay we never heard anyone from the hotel say thank you, sorry, please, and so on."

"I would never stay at this hotel again! Its dirty, way out of date and the staff are miserable! My room was not clean, and under the open cabinet in the bathroom was a used sanitary napkin wrapped in the original paper but open so you could see it!! Who knows how long it was sitting there! There is also questionable clientele who lives there and they are anything but quiet at night and in the early morning! I had to stay this far out from Michigan State University for my daughter's graduation for these dates, and spent a lot of money on a dump!!!"

"Almost everything was great. There were only a couple of things that we didn’t like. First, we paid for 2 queen beds, but the beds were double. Second, the dishwasher was full and thirdly, the hotel supplied lotion had been used. Not new."

"I was supposed to check in on Wednesday night, but my plans changed, and I couldn’t arrive until Thursday. I called the phone number on Thursday morning, and was obviously routed to a call center. I was told everything would be fine. When I arrived to check in, I was told my reservation had been canceled because I was a no show. It was graduation weekend, so “luckily” I was able to rebook - but at a higher cost. This is not my main concern. This place does not feel safe, especially as a female traveling alone. There is no staff around at night, and every time I came in, the doors were propped open, with random people hanging out in the entryway. The place is clean, I guess, but the walls are SUPER thin. I could hear people arguing, dogs whining, tv’s, etc at all hours. I even put MY headphones in at one point, so I wouldn’t bother my neighbors with my tv. I get it’s an “extended stay” place, but all I was provided with was toilet paper. No tissue, shampoo…anything. Oh, I forget, they did leave 2 plastic cups for drinking water. I rarely leave reviews, but I would not advise anyone to stay here, especially considering the cost."

"Great place to stay when in East Lansing. A bit of a drive to MSU but not bad. Spacious room, great breakfast & love the pool/gym area. Free parking as well!"
