Excellent bolt hole in the centre of the old town. Close to all the best tapas bars! Excellent friendly staff. A real gem.

Lovely renovated room where everything was clean and looked new! Huge balcony over looking the pool which was also fab and we had it to ourselves most of the time, balcony gets the sun until sunset where you can watch the sun go down, there is a steep hill and lots of steps so can be tiring walking up and down, we found the coastal path to the old town which took about 20 mins to get to, the beach was beautiful and not too busy and it’s a 5 minute walk down hill, a bit longer coming back! Lovely boutique hotel in perfect location.

We had a fantastic short stay at the Welcome Inn Nerja. Would have liked to stay for longer.

Had the most wonderful 4 nights stay for my birthday. We were welcomed from the off by Annie, who was so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is stunning, so clean and fresh, and welcoming with our room being restocked and refreshed daily. The Air conditioning was fantastic, which is essential in the heat of Almeria. We cannot or wouldn't want to fault anything about the property and our stay/experience. It was simply wonderful, and we will be back when we have our planned road trip through...

The location was very good close to the beach and the restaurants. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The room has a big balcony with sun beds.

Very centrally located with parking near by. Spotlessly clean room and very helpful staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent service and lovely staff. Location is great. Thank you and will stay again and recommend.

A clean, comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. This hotel is close by the Balcon, where everything is situated. It's within easy reach of many bars and restaurants; there's all sorts to suit all tastes. Beware following the parking signs for Hotel Puerta de la Mar. They take you to the underground car park, next to the hotel. It's handy, yes... but it costs €22.50 a day. Ask at hotel reception and they will help you!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is really friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the quality of the food was excellent. I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

I loved this place it’s got everything you need it’s a beautiful campground and the staff and amenities are first class 👍

We booked this very last minute having been evacuated from our accommodation in Alfaix due to the wildfires. From arriving to leaving Eddie could not have been more helpful. The rooms, whilst not the most luxurious, were spotlessly clean with an excellent walk in shower/bathroom, fridge and very efficient air conditioning. It’s a bit of a trek up a steep slope from where we parked our car but the views from the roof terrace were worth it. Continental breakfast was good.
