"Air conditioning took a while to cool off the room but it was close to 100° that day. Lots of Marijuana smoke around the property."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Woodlands Resort. The property was beautiful, and the staff made us feel welcome. The room was spotless and the pillows were amazing. The restaurants were very nice with equally amazing staff. The pool and lazy river were the perfect place to relax and enjoy friends. The pool staff mainly “Erica” was very attentive. She came around regularly and even found us in the lazy river to give us samples of drinks (of which were great)! Many of us later purchased the drink she gave us samples of. We highly recommend the resort and look forward to returning!"

"Loved the breakfast buffet, as it received 5 stars from us. Also, very hors doevres and two free drinks every day. Location was great cuz you could walk around the lake/pond and view beautiful herons. Also, lots of great very nice restaurants within a block of hotel. Additionally, a Whole Foods store was about 3 blocks from hotel. Attractions near by could be seen taking the trolley car which is free. Great place for a get away!!’"

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall value for the price is unbeatable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything Ineeded for a smooth weekend trip. If you are looking for an affordable, high-quality, and hassle-free place to stay in Nacogdoches, I couldn't recommend this location enough. I will definitely be back!"
