Located in Patchogue,NY at the end of Grove Street next to the swan river there is a wooded area about 1/4 mile in is this tree. According to local legends, witches were hung from this tree during colonial times. This area was extremely involved in witch craft, Sayville a Neighboring town is famous for it. In recent years there have been two separate reports of suicides by hanging at this location. #hiking
