The food was amazing. The grounds are lovely and the staff are warm and welcoming. The accomodation was fantastic,l. We had the Sorrel junior suite which is ideal for a couple with a dog. Private garden and lounge area and bedroom area mean sleeping without the dog in the same room is a nice treat

Whilst I was originally offered a disabled room which I rejected (I had not asked for one) the alternative was superb. I also had a problem with the shower which meant that we had to shower in an alternative room until this was corrected, so not a good start. Having said that the staff were extremely understanding and helpful and the beautiful location more than made up for these minor irritations. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

This is a gem of a hotel, would recommend 110%. Was friendly, value for money, clean, comfortable and nothing was any trouble and would definitely stay and recommend anyone to stay first class 🙂

The hotel were incredibly accommodating and the food really good. Its in a great location and pubs near by too. Be prepared for the church bells throughout the night

The staff were absolutely amazing but hotel could do with updating
