Carlton Square Hotel

"The hotel was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the market square. From getting off the bus, the hotel was hard to locate. The restaurant was clearly marked but not the hotel. Walked around for a bit trying to figure out where it was located. Quiet location, park is across the street and not very visible from hotel room balcony. Was nice to have balcony with door so I could keep the room cool. Nice restaurant and bar with friendly staff."

"Handy for tram lines 1 and 9 from Den Haag main railway stations also bus 23 from Van LOI station and 21 bus. Handy for the pier and Kurhaus and amenities. Very helpful gentleman on reception who upgraded my room for free. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Bar was good but expensive-EUR 11 for a pint of beer. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel."

"Overall very happy with our stay. Greeted on arrival, the guy on reception was very polite and helpful. The bed was huge in the queen room and the room spotless. The only issue was one night there were fireworks being set off in the car park-obviously I have no idea if they were connected with the hotel or if they have any control (if it is a private space or public), however the noise wasn't an issue but the debris that covered the cars in the car park. We left the next day for a trip to find the car covered in debris and pieces off the fireworks meaning we then spent €6 getting the car clean again. It didn't happen again for the remainder of our trip and we would still stay here again if in the area"
