Unpleasant stay, non friendly staff

The very first impression was that we were asked to go to another hotel on arrival at mid night (allegedly due to water problem in the rooms). They did not even inform us ahead (neither by mail nor by phone). The next issue was that, the receptionist expected us to take a cab and pay for it to go to the other hotel. Then I called the manager and she fixed the cab. And the hotel that they sent us was a really low quality hotel (Flora Hotel), there I got to sleep in a "room" that used to be a bathroom (see photos). The day after the "water problem" got solved and we could go back to the hotel; this time they refused to pay for the cab.

at the convenience place. in overall it was pleasing with the price. Lady who works at the hotel was Very helpful and kind. but the elevator was out of order so we had to bring all the luggages to upstairs.

This hotel is very good!! I like this hotel. I have already stayed 2 times. This hotel is good price, nice location and there is a bathtub. But at this time a heater was not working. We were very cold.

Maxim hotell, Düsseldorf

Bra hotell nära spårvagnshållplatser för linje 704 och 707 samt buss 732. 3 min till Düsseldorf Hbf med spårvagn och ca 10 min om man väljer att gå. Enda negativa var att rummen är väldigt lyhörda. Men jag hade inga problem att sova.

There are few rooms very close to the elevator and it’s terrible. Few rooms are very small, but designated like double room. And also alarm on few rooms was very close to door knob, so sometimes it can turn on false alarm. Cleaning was almost every day, good stuff at reception

rustig gelegen hotel gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf Dusseldorf hbf met tram 704(halte of 707 (halte furstenplatz) of bus 732 (halte corneliusstrabe) of te voet 1km vanaf dusseldorf hbf vlak bij verschillende tram halte op loop afstand van het hotel vind je ook station Friedrichstadt het eten was wat minder dat kon beter,telkens steeds de zelfde voorverpakte boterhammen uit de winkel dit vond ik maar niks

Die aktuelle Krise ist natürlich da, aber Frühstück in Lunchpaketen fanden wir jetzt nicht so gut. Besonders wenn man dies in für ein Altstadt Hotel relativ kleinen Zimmer einnehmen muss. Ansonsten merkt man leider sehr deutlich, dass die Unterkunft in die Jahre gekommen ist. Gerade bei den Zimmertüren, welche sich nur teilweise schlossen lassen, sieht man die dringend notwendige Renovierunsbedürftigkeit. Lage des Hotels ist top für alle Arten von Ausflügen.

Wer nicht all zu viel Anspruch stellt kann für einen guten Preis dort nächtigen. Die Frühstücksalternative zum typischen Buffet wegen Corona war wirklich okay gelöst mit einem Fresspaket. Es lagen allerdings benutzte Qtips auf dem Badezimmerboden, die Betten rutschen auseinander und der Duschkopf war leicht defekt. Allgemein war das Zimmer nicht ganz so schön wie auf der Seite präsentiert. Der Service aber ist offenherzig freundlich und der Preis bei 49Euro für 2 Personen mit Frühstück super!

Von Anfang an, sehr unfreundlich der Empfang, bis hin zum Zimmer mit einem Notfallknopf, der prompt ausgelöst wurde....Die Mitarbeiterin hat den Alarm gefühlt nach 20 Minuten aus bekommen. Alle Gäste standen dann, dank einer Notfalltür als Hoteleingangstür, auf dem Flur!!!! Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich! Der Zustand und die Ausstattung schlimm, eklig, schmutzig, abgewohnt und und und...... Wir haben das Zimmer nicht bezogen, weil wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt haben. Keine Entschuldigung seitens des Hotels, noch war ein Verantwortlicher vor Ort / geschweige zu erreichen. NIE WIEDER - NEIN DANKE!!! PS: keine Rückerstattung seitens des Hotels!!!
