Had to fly early from Düsseldorf Airport. Great place to stay. Nice beds and very nice staff. Bar was closed and there’s nothing to do in the neighborhood. Had to drink something at the hotel next to this one.

Stayed for 1 night to catch an early morning flight. Hotel looks nice, clean and is probably the nicest Ibis I have stayed in. Also very affordable and right next to the airport. We also got free parking.

A comfortable short-stay

This was a last minute booking simply to rest my head for the bright before my early flight the next morning. The hotel is fairly close to the airport. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and modern. The shower was good too.

We had a very pleasant stay. The minimalist style is compensated by extreme cleanliness (the hotel looks and feels new), very very cozy beds, pristine new bathrooms, and very helpful staff. The ladies at the reception were a great help to me and my son. Would definitely stay there again! Also, great job on being eco friendly!

The room/shower/bed/amenities all of them were so nice. Wonderful. However there was one thing which made me so badly mad. The taxi from the hotel to the airport. (1) The taxi driver did NOT use a taxi-meter. This is totally unfair and illegal. Yet, the price Euro 17,00 had been already settled, and he did not tell me. Pretty much unfair. (2) The driver did not accept the credit card paying. I guess, he illegally got Euro 17 himself by not telling it anybody (even to the taxi company. This is terrible!! In this sense, he was just a thief. Even worse is that this taxi driver was connected the hotel (especially the front desk guy). Black money is under going. I liked the hotel ibis in general. So please change all of these in order.

We stayed the night here after the Taylor Swift concert in Gelsenkirchen. We arrived quite late but check-in was quite fast. The room itself was good for the price we paid. However, the bed was a bit on the hard side and the pillows were way too flat, would've been nice to had some extra pillows in the room. The room was clean and the bathroom shower was nice.

Very close to the airport! It was 15 euros to go there and return cab asked 30 euros. I think it is normally 12 euros plus gratuity. The rooms are small and clean. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel, then Ibis will work for you! Linda was great, she was as pretty busy at 4 am and she was pleasantly interacting with everyone.

I loved my stay at Ibis! Super clean, nice staff and lovely breakfast. Transport to/from the airport is easy by bus during the day but you need to take a cab in the evening. It’s about 12€ by Uber for a 5’ride. It’s a convenient location to reach the fair, it takes around 15-20’ by bus. You change at the airport and walk 2 meter to take the second bus. VRR app works great! This hotel is not so well-located to reach the city center.
