Very unprofessional! The guy at front desk wasn’t as bad as the corporate office! The lady kept cutting me off and was very impatient kept telling me to call back when I found the info she needed that she couldn’t look it up by name or phone number or email. That the confirmation number from Expedia wasn’t what she needed she needed the one from oyo! I got charged for a night I didn’t get to stay! Had to put $100 deposit by card only which they took instantly but will take me 7-10 Buisness days to get back on top of them already taking $75 from me!!

The owners are very kind. The inside of the rooms are very very clean. They have cable TV and a fridge and microwave. No bugs or dust anywhere. The area was so quiet and close to Duke hospital as well. Would highly recommend and me and my family will defiantly stay here the next time we are in the area.

Property was clean , even though I asked for a nonsmoking room I was still put in one. The room definitely still smelled like cigarettes.

You spend little, you get little.
Overall, I can't complain for the price. I needed a place near Duke for an early procedure. It was close. The shower handle was mostly unattached and the curtain did nothing to keep the water in. The bathroom was tiny. It's hard to imagine a 5'5" guy having not enough leg room in a bathroom, but here I am. The deposit on the room was $100, spelled out on a sign. Most places just ask for a card to put on file, but again... in the name of cheap and close. Next time I'll put up a few more bucks for something more comfy.

I got a non smoking room but the room smelled so badly of cigarettes that my eyes burned all night. My clothes and hair smelled of cigarettes the next day. I have never experienced it that bad in my life. It’s like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes in there right before I came in. Maybe it’s because the walls are so thin that I could hear other peoples tv. I mean, it was a convenient spot right off the highway and it was cheap (not the cheapest in the area). The room looked bad. The lamp shades were stained and there were chips in the cabinetry and walls. But it was sleepable for the night besides the burning sensation in my eyes. I stayed here because the reviews were decent. It was quiet ish.

The hotel has easy access from Highway 85 and is only one-floor property. Even when the internet service is not as good as everybody expects nowadays if you do not have to work from the hotel inside, one can say that service is just fair enough to use.

OYO is a no-frills, budget place. My opinions: PROS - convenient location and easy access, clean, quiet, comfortable beds (IMO), attentive management, good parking, very good TV and internet receptions. CONS - not an attractive business area (not OYO fault), towels (IMO) not good quality (rough and not very absorbent), bring your own or WalMart is close. If you are looking for luxury, high end accommodations, OYO is not for you. If you want basic, budget accommodations, check out OYO. OYO has become my go-to place in the area.

Dilapidated but comfortable
This motel appears dilapidated, but some things are nicely updated. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. It was very quiet. I enjoyed my two-night stay, particularly because of the low price. If you don't mind chipped furniture and older decor, this is a good place to stay.

Parking lot was rough, bed was very uncomfortable, room was noisy from ice machine, parking lot, stairs, and upstairs. Shower floor was extremely slick with big hump in the center and no traction whatsoever. Huge slip and fall hazard! Huge gap under outside door. Clean room with friendly staff.

Had a great stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish would’ve been different were to have them offer complimentary shampoo and conditioner like most hotels. Other than that I definitely recommend this Oyo hotel!
