Was fantastic

The Hotel Staff greet you with a smile, are welcoming and helpful. There was a variety of food on the menu and the food is delicious with attentive service from the Waiters and Waitresses. My room was well cared for and I was grateful for the upgrade. I really appreciated the sea view.

5 stars all round! For a 3* rated property, there have better facilities than some 4 and 5* places where I have stayed. The staff are an asset to this property. Breakfast was fantastic. You can also organise breakfast earlier if you have an early morning excursion. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Great water pressure in the showers and comfy beds. No complaints.

The property has walking access to the gateway shopping mall, a great bonus with exclusive shops and places to eat. Parking is also available. The rooms are modern and clean

Just needed somewhere to stay after arrival at the airport, before moving on the next day. The hotel was a relatively easy drive (with SatNav), though hotel wasn't clearly marked from the road, but shoeing as 88 Chartwell Drive, rather than as 'guest house. The room was good sized, with sofa, large tv, good bathroom and comfortable bed. The room had coffee facilities, refridgerator and 'honesty bar' Breakfast was good. Would certainly use again, if needi somewhere to stay in Durban.
