"Beautiful property and a good place to refresh after a long flight. Quiet, owners were nice, and scones waiting for us upon arrival. 'True Ireland' location."

check in was excellent, very friendly staff offered me a mince pie and some hot chocolate and a room upgrade as i hadbeen at the hotel 30 years previously. Hotel has changed, been upgraded and my room was on a par with any of the 5 star hotels i have stayed at in Asia. Lovely ambiance in the hotel, bed was v v comfy. excellent coffee at breakfast. Will return in summer.

Great value hotel on the ring road round Kilkenny making it easy to find & although a little bit outside town centre & attractions access to the town centre very easy as long as you have a car. Large car park & a very good breakfast

The oldest hotel. was really well kept but a little dated in the main hotel bedrooms. very clean and excellent staff. good choice of breakfast and a decent check out time of 11.30.

Hotel was in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was worth the money with plenty of choice. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable.
The only negative was the pillows were not so comfortable and there was no air conditioning in the room although there was a desk fan provided. Just glad we didn't stay in the heat wave.
If you are visiting Kilkenny I would recommend this hotel.

Stunning, clean smelling room that was immaculately prepared. The bed was very comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water and power. Breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing time, the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful. My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games, lit a fire which was fabulous. The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard. We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...
