Sheraton Athlone Hotel

"We had a great stay at the Sheraton, we had an upgrade on checking in and stayed in a huge room with two double beds and a sofa bed! The pool is lovely (more for lounging than swimming) but you need to bring or buy a swimming cap (€2). We had a buffet breakfast included and it was great too. There is parking under the hotel and the cost is covered by the hotel. All in all a great place to stay!"

"Cool guesthouse kind of property. No traditional "front desk" or on site workers but the owners own the restaurant across the street and pizza place downstairs and everyone helps with everything and they are all great. Awesome breakfast in the restaurant and the staff is really helpful and engaging and care. I would totally stay there again. No elevator, and top floor rooms can get kind of toasty in the summer with no ac, but not a big deal for us."
