"The hotel is very-well maintained and houses a very prompt and friendly staff. The rates are extremely competitive for the area. This particular location is in a sort of “industrial” area and adjacent to a local “car show” area that has revving engines going late into the night on weekends. Very easy access to expressway, however, and only a 10-minute drive to any of Duluth’s sights."

"Check in was easy. They have underground parking. My room was a great size, with nice mini fridge, microwave small sink and coffee pot. Loved the snacks they provide! And smores at the campfire at night! "

"We loved our stay and had a great view of the lake and bridge. The staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed the ease of parking and stepping out to walk on the lake walk path. Breakfast was hot and had a good variety. Our room had a fireplace and jet tub, which we loved after a long day of walking. Lots of food options nearby, entertainment, and things to do. We would definitely stay again."

"The room was clean. There were ample towels and supplies in the bathroom. The quality of the toilet paper was the poorest that I have seen in a very long time. The quality of the food at breakfast time was a bit on the poor side. The coffee, however, was great. Also the breakfast time ended way too early...RON DONALDSON..."

"Room is a little bit small. But come with necessary supplies. Love the shoreline. So beautiful! You may see sunrise if you can get up early enough. Property provides stuff for making s’more, and firewood. Very satisfied with our stay. "

"We needed a one-night stay along the North Shore. This property fit the bill for us. It was 'on' Highway 61 which is the main (only?) road that runs along the lake. But, we never heard any of the traffic. The pool/common area was on the highway side offering a noise buffer. Our stay was after Memorial Day so there were only a few other guests.
