"We stayed in a luxurious and spacious suite that was very well equipped. The room was excellently insulated — despite being located directly opposite the airport, we didn’t hear any aircraft noise at all, which was a big plus.
The location is ideal, just a one-minute walk from the terminal. Perfect for an early flight or a short stay.
The staff was friendly, although the service felt somewhat reserved and not particularly warm.
The only downside was that the room was quite warm, which slightly affected the overall comfort.
Overall, a pleasant stay and definitely recommended."
"I booked the Comfort Twin Room it was light and airy, the bathroom was a good size both rooms were very clean the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. The hotel is outside Dusseldorf town but only a 15 minute tram ride into the shops Aldstat and the Rhine. Breakfast was included, there was a variety of hot and cold foods, tea coffee and fruit juices. The dining area was large and kept spotless. All the staff were very helpful and polite I will definitely be returning to this hotel again. The only thing missing was there were no drinks in the room but the restaurant was open till late. All in all it was a very pleasant hotel."
"Great room, layout and size. Really comfy bed. Very well equipped with cooker, oven, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Missing cutlery and vital corkscrew. Superb pool and sauna (with gym) on the 7th floor. Great location right next to the main train station. "
"Hotel was great but AC was not working at all. Room was very hot. Staff was aware but said nothing at check-in. No amenity offered for the inconvenience."
"The hotel was conveniently located in Little Tokyo and a short walk to shopping, restaurants and the Altstadt. Nearby bakeries were a great find as the hotel breakfast was overpriced at 27 Euros. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Rooms did not have shampoo or conditioner, staples in any hotel. No mini fridge either, however there was an abundant supply of bottled water. "
Holiday Inn - the niu, Tab Dusseldorf Main Station by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was very small and had no amenities. There was only 1 chair to sit on. There was not desk or workspace. They brought in a round table on our last day, which there was no room for. There was barely enough room for 2 suitcases which had to be on the ground. They did have a place to put a suitcase, but it was the only area to use. The nightstand was a metal stool with a hole in it. The only shelf space was a 3 inch shelf under the TV and a ledge in the bathroom. Definitely not meant for 2 people. "
