The River Welland at Duddington. Standing on the old stone bridge on Mill Street with one foot in Rutland and the other in Northamptonshire. The county boundary follows the river for several miles. The new bridge in the photograph carries the A47 over the river right on the boundary with SK9801. Great quiet Location with friendly staff. This was our 4th visit. I like the White Company toiletries, the bath robe and slippers and the old fashioned teapot and cosy for your morning tea with fresh milk. Recommend thoroughly and we’ll be back later in the year.

Good facilities and large rooms. Very noisy - the building seems to attract alot of youngsters wanting parties etc, so not ideal for a business trip. I also wouldn't recommend it for a lone female traveller - there were some undesirable characters around.
