Top Duckholes Lagoons Nature Reserve Hotel Reviews
Lake St Clair Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Would have liked a microwave in the cabin but it’s not a deal breaker. The gas log fire in the cabin was lit which made for a warm and cozy welcome when we checked in. The bed and bedding were nice, warm and comfortable. As it gets pretty cold there, electric blankets might be a nice touch, that way you don’t need to leave the gas heater on most of the night. All in all, we had a lovely time."
"There was an issue beyond the property's control, as a result we were upgraded and staff ensured we were advised, taking extra effort to contact us. "
"Great spot for our first night in Tassie. Clean and cosy room, friendly staff, great food. And a warm spot next to the fire. Glad we found out way to this hotel."
"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."
"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls.
The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains.
The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena.
Highly recommend this place to stay."
