Me and my husband travelled for 8days to Dubai during the May bank holiday period. The hotel facilities was very clean and new as you see from the pictures. There is a 2-3min walk across to the beach (the beach is beautiful). The beach staff near the sun beds were unhelpful and would probably state there was never enough sun beds past 9am as they had all been “claimed” by this point if you were late down. Typically trying to order a drink can take half hour to get to you even though there is a beach bar. Receptionist at the start of the holiday was asked for transport links instantly was told taxis are cheaper and easier to get to once place to another. This was incorrect the west beach area can get extremely busy the traffic is ridiculous and the meter on the government taxis doesn’t half sky rocket even when in standstill traffic, after speaking to other members of staff we found that there was a monorail which is 5-7min walk away from the hotel (Al Itihad) which can take you near to the main tram line (dubai marina) to connect to the Metro - Sobha Realty which is the main red line on the Shaykh Zayd Road to access all the malls including the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Hasan we met at the start of the holiday was polite and helped us with our suitcases, gave us information on where the places were to visit in dubai. Super helpful!

a fantastic place, excellent, friendly and useful staff (they let us check in at 8am for free even if regular check in is at 3pm), extraordinary views from our room at the 5th floor, great beach, sand, sea - all super clean and super safe (like all Dubai), perfect location for parties, clubbing, night life (West Beach just outside the hotel); great buffet breakfast! great pool!
