It has been an exceptional experience. The place is very decent, clean, up to the brand standards. The staff are amazing. Only one negative experience. The duty manager was manipulative to avoid upgrading the room, and end up not received the upgrade.

The service was terrible we got downgraded instead of an upgrade. We had to change rooms otherwise we would’ve been charged double. I’ll never stay here again. And I suggest nobody else does. Dubai needs to learn a little more about service for tourists if they want to be taken seriously as a tourist destination. Bill. By the way I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries. So I know what I’m talking about.

When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was trying to sell us a better room instead of giving us the upgrade ( the hotel is a vip hotel)even though this is my second time in the hotel and I m a Expedia gold member. The first time was good but second time is TOTALLY different! When we arrived into the room the mini bar…had an old potato pasta in its mini bar..and nothing else in the mini bar whatsoever. We had to pay extra To get the mini bar filled! The hotel room was nice and pretty furniture! But it gave off weird vibes? Well the housekeepers where extremely nice!! And made the room well! However getting out of the hotel was hard! Hotel cars demanded 200!! JUST to go next door to Dubai mall! All other cars the bellmen made deals with them to ask to pay 200 also. We sometimes ordered breakfast but it was an extremely small breakfast though they said it would be big. The pool had a good temperature but the lifeguards always wanted us out of there 30 mins before it closed!!. There was a bell man called Patrick! He was probably the best of the personal there! He was very helpful!. We wanted to get out of that hotel fast even thought we planned to stay longer than 2 weeks! One good thing was the gym was open 24 hours and that was 1 good thing about the hotel! Plus there where wedding party’s in the lobby 247! If you want to go to this hotel it’s better to have party and such there only it’s not a very much kid friendly place.. kind of boring
