The property is located within Deira City Centre Mall with direct access to the Dubai Metro. The rooms are spacious and you can easily have 4 pieces of luggage opened without restricting movement. Rooms are cleaned daily including towel service. However, certain items are not necessarily replaced and you have to remind them, like lotion, shower caps, etc. We also had a faulty hairdryer which took them 2 days to replace! I would recommend that Marriott invest in upgrading rooms and have showers for seniors like ourselves as the bathtubs are very difficult to get into and are a falling hazard for us. I would be doing injustice by not recognizing the following staff: Front Office - Sanjna, Guest Ambassador. She took care of us from check-in, asking us daily how we were and ensuring that we were comfortable and immediately addressed any concerns. She was also extremely helpful by giving us a late check-out. Chefs - Sharun, excellent! He knew exactly what type and size (one egg) omelette my wife and I wanted, and made it everyday during our 4 days stay. Emmanuel - Always smiling, just seeing him everyday made us feel good. Our server during breakfast - Sumanta. What a lovely person. Extremely polite, efficient and someone that makes your day. Overall I would highly recommend this property, and hopefully Marriott will improve on the bathrooms.
