I paid twice for the room because the reservation I made through Expedia wasn’t showing up in the system. I talked to Expedia before arriving, who talked to the management at the hotel and said they would have a room for us when we arrived and we would not have to pay again. Well, someone lied and we did not have a room waiting for us. So I paid a second time for a room with a tv that didn’t work, what looked like bloody smears on the bedskirt of one of the beds, and we didn’t need to use the key to get into our room because it never locked. Also the side door of the building which was supposed to be key-entry only never locked. Expedia is trash, which I now know and I will never use it again.

Absolute bare minimal room. No in-room coffee maker, no breakfast, no chair other than the desk chair. They didn't even have an alarm clock in the room. Choice comment from management "as a Motel 6 we're not required to have that.." sheesh I stayed two nights and luckily hung up my towel because they did not even service the room after the first night.

The inroom refrigerator was way too cold. I had an English cucumber and red pepper that were frozen. They were also out of nose tissues. Napkins were a viable solution. Otherwise, it was a safe, clean place to lay my head. I appreciate being able to pay onsite, in cash.

Lacks adequate securty.
Security at this establishment leaves much to be desired. Door F, the outside door closest to our room, could not be tightly closed - hence it could not be locked. An intruder has complete access to the every corridor through this door at any time, day or night. If you want to be assured that when you open your room door, anyone you encounter is a registered guest or an employee, then avoid this establishment,

Great weekend getaway without breaking the bank
My wife and I just wanted to get away for the weekend and not break the bank. Motel 6 is our go-to hotel for that short weekend. The staff is always super friendly and the rooms are nice... very nice for the price. The location is perfect with several restaurants very close.. including on in the hotel and one in the parking lot. We even got a bonus this trip because they now have a few slot machines in the lobby which was different and kind of fun.

When we got into our room, the toilet did not work. We had to physically take the lid off and manually flush it multiple times. The beds were horrible and very squeaky. I will spend the extra money to stay in a nicer hotel not motel.

First thing they couldn’t find our reservation. So he just gave us a room. The refrigerator was missing and wash clothes were missing. The pillows were smashed clumps on the bed that did not resemble pillows at all. You could feel springs in the mattress and every time you moved they squeezed and would wake each other up. The next day room service never came to the room at all so we had to go ask for fresh towels. The shower walls look like there’s black mold in the grout. Not recommend ☹️

We found roaches in the room and the hallways smelled horrible. Their system messed up during our stay and they couldn’t tell that my room was paid for.. so housekeeping opened the door and barged in screaming at me to get out of the room while I wasn’t properly dressed. I had to wait in the lobby locked out of my room for 45 minutes while the error was resolved. I have never been treated so horrible at any hotel.

I arrived on a Friday evening at Motel 6 Clarion PA, after driving 6 hours, checked in, and went to eat before going to my room. When I did, the room wasn't clean. I was exhausted and just went to bed after making sure bugs weren't an issue. When I left this morning I asked that the room be cleaned. I just returned, and it hasn't been touched. There is actual mold growing in the toilet, long brown hair in the sink (mine is very short and gray), and something gross on the faucet. The carpet is actually sticky in places. The desk top had crumbs and the was visible dust on the dresser top. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere if you are traveling to Clarion PA.

Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Its just that the hotel itself is old and needs many renovations. The hot tub in our room had 2 of the 3 knobs broken and didnt turn at all. There was a musty smell in the hallways. The ac/heater didnt work well. And some of the outlets barely worked. My hairdryer didnt even stay plugged into the one in the bathroom. The pillows were very flat but the front desk was very nice and gave us extra. We didnt go to the restaurant inside only because it wasnt a cuisine we liked. It was okay for 1 night but wouldnt stay there again unless they updated and remolded the entire place.

Beside the nice guy at the desk. The lobby. A the nice UNusable pool outside. The whole place is a disaster. Like, they're about to close it and just squeeze the last clients in before folding it. 1st room offered, was full of cigarette butts, not cleaned up, full of can on the floor and in the bathroom. 2nd one at least closed and the beds were clean. But several neighbors were super noisy (I think that was their vacantion spot for the time being).With kids running around at bight and esrly morning. A door between rooms😵‍💫. The hotel manager asking us to check out through the door 40mns before 11am. Even the coffee was terrible in the morning. The outside at night was super shady too. Anyways. Guys, close it or change the whole thing, before something happens...

I feel safe traveling to this hotel. The staff is great& when I discovered my room ac unit did not work at all( A2) was reading-& no fan/ heat or AC worked, another was found for me. Sadly, the grounds had ALOT of trash- incl a huge amount of rotten apples dumped behind the building. The tub / tile was rusty and had mildew- but the room was clean. Lumpy pillows could use an upgrade - but for a single night, all ok.
