The food was consistently excellent, with a menu that balances hearty Irish classics and more refined options. The bar has a warm, welcoming vibe, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Their kindness and dedication are second to none. When I asked about shoe polishing available, they discovered it wasn’t available locally and then drove to the next town to get it for me. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. "We had a great stay at the White Heather Farmhouse. The room was fine with a comfortable bed. Best of all, Sheila was a wonderful host and she provided us was a solid breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed here for one night for a family meeting, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Glengarriff town—but still peaceful and scenic. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight: delicious food, generous portions, and great local ingredients. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with plenty of choice for all ages. "Lovely hotel right in the middle of Bantry, staff is always forthcoming and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, the view over the harbour just beautiful. Definitely recommend, coming back here again as always - my top hotel when I visit Bantry."

"The bed was comfortable. The noice from the street and bar is no more than noises in any other hotel. All good! Breakfast is a nice way to start the day. It begins at 8:30 which turned out to be just fine. We had time to do all that we wanted to do."
