Our stay at Sankara was truly magical. Nestled in nature, it offers a beautiful sense of blending in with the natural surroundings, creating a peaceful and enchanting atmosphere. Our villa was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautiful, and complete with a private pool, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The spa was another highlight, adding to the feeling of tranquility and indulgence. Every moment felt special, almost like stepping into a hidden paradise. A wonderful escape for anyone looking for beauty, serenity, and a touch of magic.

Great staff, particularly Nofi and Romi (spelling?) at the front desk. Wonderful room, restaurant and area. Worth getting a private pool room. Tour was great with Nofi and the offering with Romi.

Unfortunately from the first day it was a poor experience.We were moved from a signature room to a cottage room (new to old) without any communication prior due to room not being completed. The room was next to a building site with noise until 10pm at night. Bed was dirty. Asked to be moved and this was accommodated however this room had bathroom with ants and cockroaches. We were told we would be given complimentary lunch however everyone was getting that so no compensation for our initial room. Then on day 2 there was a loose pool tile in kids waterslide pool. My daughter came off slide and landed on it cutting her foot badly and requiring five stitches. Despite blood and loose tile they initially stuck the tile back on without emptying water and did not close until next morning when I communicated this. I asked for a refund and it was very hard to speak to management-the people we spoke to were “to listen and inform management”. The best they could offer was club access and a couple of kids club passes after I continued to ask and even when raising through Expedia. If this was a smaller kid the damage may have been much worse and there are loose decks and sharp tiles when you look closely which I don’t think is good enough for a premium resort. My child needs ongoing medical attention at home and could not swim/go to beach or walk for majority of holiday which was cut short. Go to Padma, Legian beach, stones..anywhere else.
