"This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes from the main touristic attraction in the area - Bled. Very highly recommended!"

"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel and restaurant. I was afraid there may have been someone hiding. We were the only ones in the building with access to everything. The next morning we found and couple at eating breakfast. They got in at 11pm. The chef, Jacob, was not aware there was more people and had to find food for us. Jacob was the best part of the experience. He was the only staff in the building. We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We left the keys and told Jacob were were leaving. The manager called me hours later. I aksed for a refund for the 2nd night. He refused. I told him about the safety concerns. He offered me a place in Bled. At that point we already booked another room. Do not stay here!!! Safety issues. My family was afraid to spend the night .SaferSafertystayn9led. "

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Guesthouse Urša. The host lady was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her warm hospitality really set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The guesthouse itself is perfectly located—just a short drive from the airport and close to many beautiful attractions amd hiking trails in the area. Breakfast was a real treat—generous, healthy, and delicious, with a variety of fresh local products. Another standout was the excellent pizzeria run by the guesthouse itself. The pizzas were wholesome, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Overall, Guesthouse Urša offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. "Our stay wwas marvelous. All the staff were wonderful. The welcome schnapps in arrival was a fun Slovenian touch!! We used the hot tubs and bbq amd everytjing was really easy to organise. The breakfast baskets every morning wrre wonderful and we made picnic lunches from the left overs! "
