"Lovely hosts with great local recommendations. Went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . Spent a full day relaxing by the pool during a heat wave. Easy access to St Emilion. Comes with a bonus friendly fat chateau cat on the grounds."

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

Breakfast was a highlight of the stay . . . delicious and homemade. The home is about 15 minutes from Saint Emilion and near several wineries. I highly recommend staying with Dominique and Laura!"

Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. "As soon as we arrived we were disappointed. The door was locked and we had to wait with our luggage all day until 4 pm. No one in site. The room was good. We rented a car and had to park it outside up the road leading in to St Emilion. Breakfast basic . The owner said we could only come to eat at 9 am ... We overstayed our time in St Emillion...5 nights. I would recommend no more than 2.."
