Great value, would stay again.

We own property in Ojochal and needed somewhere close to stay while we were handling business. Villas de Oros was perfect for us. We ate at the fabulous restaurants around Ojochal, but the kitchenette definitely came in handy and we would have used it more if we had our kids with us, or staying longer. I'd stayed at this location before Vikki and Holly bought it, and they have made many nice improvements. The only disappointing thing was that they don't have any breakfast offerings as most hotels in Costa Rica do. But we were happy with the monkeys that came through right outside our patio, and Vikki was helpful with some things I needed printed. Thanks!

Great place to stay!

We had a great stay. Great local restaurants. Beautiful area. You can expect to have Macaws flying by, lots of monkeys. Vikki, the inn owner, was also very helpful in planning activities. This place has my highest recommendation.

Perfect jungle getaway

This is the kind of hotel you either love or hate, no in between possible. Its small, not very modern(its eco), its personal, the hostess is a brilliant character that will help you with absolutely anything. The views are downright spectacular. For us,a 30yr old couple,this was a highlight in our cr trip.

A Short Getaway from San Jose

This is one area we had not been to in Costa Rica....a little toaster than what we're used to, but deserted beaches and tropical areas to explore...great restaurant nearby.... Exotica, and little ceviche stands with reasonable lunches. Owner quite nice and helpful!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay, where you can see, hear, and smell the ocean, watch the monkeys frolic in the trees, listen to the many different birds singing, and enjoy the hospitality of the owner, then Villa d Oros, is definitely the place. The owner of this little bit of paradise is there, ready with a warm welcome and lots of ideas and suggestions to help you with your plans for your visit to her world.
