"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

From the private pool to the high-end finish out of the houses, it is just stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked to make anything. "Bed was super comfy and soft loved it! Check in didn’t go very smoothly didn’t get any communication form our host until she finally answered our call at 8pm after trying to contact for 2 days. Place has everything you need condition isn’t great but all good for a 1 or 2 night stay"

"We stayed at this beautiful space overnight on our way home and felt warmly welcomed. The place is relatively new and well equipped and tucked away in the town. Our host was wonderful and breakfast was delicious and filling. The supermarket is very close and easy to walk to restaurants and pastry shops nearby. Close to several wineries and we visited the Stilianou winery which was lovely(lots of narrow roads to get there though, as per usual rural Crete).
We had a restful sleep and very close to drive to Heraklion airport (20 minutes). Would stay again. Thanks for sharing this space. 😌"
