"Very sweet hotel with the NICEST woman at the front desk, she could not have been kinder or more helpful! Very clean and comfy!"

"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised. We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation. Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing. On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season."

"Nice place. Think of it as a French country motel. One room with a bathroom. Kitchen was small tight area in corner.outdoor space was nice. We brought in lunch from the market one day and ate outside surrounded by olive trees. .Hosts are very helpful and flexible. Nice easy walk to old part of town. 10 plus minutes depending on your speed. Follow the directions they send you to find and enter place. I recommend. "

"We arrived late so no contact with staff. In the morning they were friendly. Person in spa was a bit unfriendly when I asked question. No one thought to mention that it was market day in town before we left. "

"We actually couldn’t enter the hotel. They closed the doors at 9:30pm. I was at a wedding and was going to arrive late. when I call them to ask if they could leave the door open or hide the key somewhere. They just say NO. So I had to check-in another hotel. I lost the room and they never reimbursed me. Very bad management. And hotel.com can not do anything. I think I am signing out of hotel.com. Plenty of other travelling site. "

"Le Galinier is magical and romantic. Our suite was beautiful—modern yet full of charm—with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent. It truly felt like a perfect home away from home. A lovely surprise was the Beaumier rosé—we really enjoyed sipping it by the pool. Every detail contributed to a relaxing, luxurious stay. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Access by spiral staircase. My wife is disabled and this access was very difficult for her as our room was on 1st floor."
