There are a number of packages that you can buy, ranging from simply watching the dolphins to swimming with them or spending a full day in their company.Included in the deals are the “dorsal tow”, the “foot push”, aqua scooter experiences and even a kiss on the cheek from a friendly dolphin – truly a memorable experience. Before you get in the water you’ll be taught about how to interact with these special marine animals and the park’s work in conservation and research. If you choose the “trainer for a day” programme then you’ll also learn about dolphin husbandry, development and behavioural training.The different programmes come at different prices, giving you flexibility for you visit but make sure you book in advance to ensure a place on the one that’s best for you. On-site photographers will also capture your special experience in video and photographs, which you can purchase before you leave. There are also restaurants in every Dolphinaris if you get peckish.The Dolphinaris in Tulum is located in the Gran Bahía Principe Riviera Maya Resort, the one in Cozumel is just 3 minutes from the ferry port on the main road and in Riviera Maya it’s 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Transport to the resort can be included in the admission price and there is plenty of free parking.
