All good with the exception of the front desk calling frequently about our late check out for which we paid. After staying 10 nights, they could have been more prudent and understanding, particularly after we explained that my wife had an accident which caused us to check out an hour after the pre arranged agreement. Room was not going to be occupied at 9 pm. Paid until 8 pm. We found that to have been lacking judgement on the part of the front desk.

It was a lovely hotel, good location, but the room cleaning was very incoherent, sometimes towels missing.. The breakfast was great! And the view was the best, seaview was worth it!

Qatar website says you need 5 hour minimum layover to enter country however when I arrived, they changed the requirement temporarily for that day to 12 hours so I was unable to enter. Aleph refused to refund me due to the circumstances being out of my control.

Very cooperative staff at check in. Got us nice connecting rooms. Excellent food by room service. Best food we have had at any major hotel chain. Their chef is quite skilled. The breakfast however wasn't worth the price we paid.
