The proximity to airport was very good for a quick turnaround stay. The shuttle transport to and from airport was very good and convenient. Receptionist was very helpful and accommodating with regards to room requirements. Baggage porter was ready to assist with luggage needs. The hotel itself appears a bit dated and needs to be given some attention. Especially the elevators which smelled of cigarette smoke.
The staff were friendly and the room was beyond confortable 😘 i did not try the food but the restaurant looked quite nice and if i had to guess i would say the food would match. Everything about the hotel was worth the price tag! Thanl you

I had a great stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The price was excellent for how nice the hotel is. There are also many dining options to choose from. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying a few nights in Doha. They also offer a complementary airport shuttle.

They put me in a non smoking room, but the room was smelling terrible. They staff inmediately change me to a real non smoking room.

Arrived in Doha and called the property twice to request airport pickup.
Once call was picked up, I heard “one moment please” and got transferred to another number that was never picked up. Did not stay at the hotel and lost money I had paid for the night as it was a non-refundable booking from Expedia. What a scam!! When Expedia called the hotel, they claimed I had checked later in the night and out way too late for my transit flight :-). I sent proof to Expedia for my stay elsewhere.

1. Asked for early on 19th Jan morning, was told will not be any extra charge, but when I reached the hotel, got charged 300 QAR.
2. No toothbrush and toothpaste were provided, but was not notified before arrival.
3. There were 1 or 2 days no replacement of face towels, but other amenities were refilled.

Hotel is old style Gulf Hotel - probably acceptable in mid 60s but very dated these days compared to modern equivalents. Still it is clean and convenient and offers free transport to and from airport. Had a very tasty curry in the hotel restaurant.

I absolutely enjoyed the stay. We were there for a day for a long layover In Doha. I probably will stay there again. Great price, great staff, great facilities and great room. The only thing they can improve is that the bathroom shower had black dirt. The room and bathroom
Was cleaned but the shower had black grout. This is an easy fix and I think they should take it seriously: it’s a great place.

Hotel was great. Staff friendly and courteous. Plenty of restaurants within the hotel complex.
Very busy main road. Unfortunately the metro is to far away to safely cross busy roads to reach it. Taxi’s are cheap enough to get around in.

What a dump.
For a few dollars more stay in the diplomatic area and get an outstanding hotel.
This place has empty sterile restaurants or closed restaurants.
You get accosted in the elevator and public areas by prostitutes.
Room stinks of stale smoke. Central panel for lights etc so faded from being old you can’t see what buttons do what.
The only positive was the steak house restaurant that had a nice ambience and the service was outstanding. Food was nice but not great.

After an initial problem with the superior room it was quickly resolved by Manju on reception and Anthony the porter was helpful in moving our cases to the larger room.
The larger room with a king size bed and 2 rollaway beds for our grandchildren. The room was comfortable and very clean and we had great service from our room attendant Nadeesah.
We ate breakfast each morning and all the staff were very accommodating. A special mention to Ariene who saw my grandson had his birthday badge on and brought him a birthday cake with candles in and a little gift. She was really lovely with the children and made our stay special.
We use the children’s and main swimming pool every day and it was perfect. Would highly recommend. Great location too!
