Just the ticket

The Hotel is slightly dated. The room itself wasn't warm late at night but I was perfectly warm in bed. But the lovely lady on reception/breakfast duty couldn't do enough for us; she was great. We arrived late and only stayed one night so I'm sure she'd have sorted the heating if we'd have asked. Considering it's great central location, decent price and charming host we'd stay again.

Really lovely hotel in pretty town. Didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast so can't comment on food but restaurant area looked very pleasant. One minor criricism, a bin in the bedroom would have been useful Lift was very much appreciated

Well located but lower standard

Hotel is well located in center of Divonne, not far from Geneva. Parking places are very limited, when we arrived after 9pm none was available and parking on the street was full as well. Room is rather small and doublebed is more 1.5 bed with old matrass with a hole in the middle, rather uncomfortable. Breakfast for 13EUR is poor, ham and sliced cheese, better selection of sweet variant. If you want eggs they will prepare them freshly for you, which is nice. The place is ok for a short term stay but rather lower standard.

Arrivée le soir vers 21h30: bilan ma réservation (confirmée par Hotels.com) n'avait pas été prise en compte par l’hôtel... L’hôtel était complet. J'ai été relogé dans un autre hôtel (à la demande du DIVONA). Le nouvel hôtel était bien moins "sympa" que les photos du DIVONA

Extremely disappointing experience

I have stayed in countless hotels all over the world and this has been one of the worst experiences. This hotel was a huge disappointment in a charming little French town bordering Switzerland. People working at the reception were welcoming and friendly, but, here are the things that annoyed me the most in my 2 night stay: - The room was dirty - There isn't a do not disturb sign so housekeeping was knocking on my door every day around 8AM (I could have slept a couple of hours since my appointments were walking distance and a couple of hundred meters away from the hotel) - The room was too hot for comfort - the plastic fan they had helped a little though - The wifi signal in my room (the last one on the third floor and away from the wifi extender) was really weak, deeming almost impossible to use - There isn't a rubbish bin in the room, just inside the toilet - The shower room was disgusting with mould and dirt all over the place, not to mention hairs and even insects - Noise from other rooms can be easily heard - My room looked dated and in desperate need of a renovation - The elevator went up to the second floor so if you're on the 3rd, you have to carry your bags up another flight of stairs - There is a mini-fridge which was probably turned off for ages. It was smelly and mouldy and in over 35 degrees heat, one could find it useful to have some water cooling down in it but it was impossible to use. Either keep it clean and useful or just remove it from the room

Excellent service and good value close to Geneva

Staying in Divonne to avoid Geneva airport on a Saturday prior to skiing as have done many times before. This hotel is central and convenient. Service was excellent. Perfect for good value short stay

Great location. Super friendly staff. They claim to have parking but that was hit or miss. There are a 6-7 spots for 20-something rooms, so there were nights where I got the last spot or no spot.

Mittelklassehotel mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Das Hotel liegt im Herzen des charmanten französischen Städtchen Divonne-les-Bains und eignet sich hervorragend für die Übernachtung auf Geschäftsreisen nach Nyon oder Gland. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir das grosszügig bemessene Superior-Doppelzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und Fenster, welches nur unwesentlich teurer war als das Standard Einzelzimmer, die gute WLAN-Verbindung im 1. Stock sowie genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze am Hotel oder im nahegelegenen Parkhaus. Nicht so gut gefallen hat mir das etwas knappe Frühstücksbuffet. Vermisst habe ich deutsche Fernsehsender. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, komme gerne wieder.
