"We were travelling with bicycles and requested a room on the ground floor so we could avoid hauling them up stairs or elevators. They not only accommodated our request, but gave us a room with its own door to the outside, like a motel, which made it very convenient. The room was spacious even with two adult-size bikes inside.
The room was clean with a reasonable layout, the beds were comfortable with several pillows of varying firmness. The toilet and tub & shower was separate from the vanity which was just outside the bathroom door.
One thing that could be added is a smart tv with access to common streaming services and YouTube.
Staff at the front desk were very helpful when we asked for a restaurant recommendation. We enjoyed it so much that we went there for breakfast the next morning. (Yavis is the name of the restaurant.)
Breakfast is included with the room so we ate there on the first morning. They had the typical "breakfast included" foods. Scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Cereal, muffins, bagels, and bread for toast. Sausages. No waffles, but a pancake machine that made 2 (very small) pancakes at a time. Coffee, tea, juice, milk etc.
If we were to ever do the same trip, we'd definitely stay at Canalta Jurassic again."
