Division No. 2 Trip

If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19, you'll notice a raft of new restrictions and rules in place. Follow these tips and make your trip to Division No. 2 go off without a hitch:

• Investigate the rules and restrictions in both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so remember to check government advisories before booking.
• When you pass through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be required to lower it briefly for identification purposes. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be fined and denied entry.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA employee. Rather, position your pass on the reader and then hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag for scanning.
• Remove items from your pockets, like your phone and wallet, and put them in your carry-on rather than the bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
