"Very nice hotel located in a quiet and idyllic village. Easy to reach by car, bike or even public transport (bus stop right behind the corner). In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. "We booked the Double Room, Lake View and the scenery was stunning - a view down the Urnersee toward Flüelen with panorama back to Ingenbohl; at sunrise and sunset with clouds hovering (or a chance rainbow we saw) it was spectacular. The view and quiet were relaxing, sitting on the balcony or in the room.
Dinner and breakfast were good, staff were very helpful.
We walked to see the sites and bought fresh cheese at the 24-hour self-serve shop 5 minutes away, after enjoying our 2-hour boat ride from Lucerne to reach there.
