"Very nice bed and breakfast in very nice house surrounded by green garden. approximately 15 miles from the nice fishermen village Ullapool. The entrance from the road is marked with a very small sign that can easily be missed. There was no T.V in the room since the place is isolated."

"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. The town and beach are all within walking distance and plenty of places locally to eat in the evening. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay"

"What a great place to stay! Quite, clean, and inviting. This may sound weird, but the shower pressure was amazing and the best shower I had on this trip, lol. Breakfast was very simple and good. Would stay again! "

"It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly."

"A gorgeous area to visit and the house was beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. Definitely a unique place to stay but one of my favorites. The hosts were both amazing and I hope to be back!"

"Great castle stay. You can wander around the property and get a look at the other rooms of the castle. Free easy on-site parking. Staff was great. Little pub in the basement with walk-out garden seating to have a beverage. As with it being an old castle, it has and old charm and fun to explore. Bummed the ghost story person was t=not there for our stay - would have loved to hear. Recommended. Only potential issue, there is no lift and 3 floors potentially. Would stay again. Had breakfast here, was the only thing that was unremarkable."
"This hotel was unique. Interesting combo of an older building, similar decor to the movie The Shining, funky-fun art, and very large room and bathroom. We had a drink at the bar which was good. They use actual metal room keys..fun. We did run into a problem with parking. The hotel is in the same parking lot area as the train. Train people aren’t allowed to park so luckily there was a spot open when we arrived. In the morning 2 cars were blocking our car in. One was the receptionist who said she’d move it but we were worried it would not be enough space to back out. We finally did back out successfully but it was a hassle. If you are from another country that drives on the other side of the car and the other direction of traffic, you might find this a challenge. The receptionist did move her car while the other car remained behind us but further away from her car’s original position. The receptionist didn’t seem happy that we were so concerned. She was clearly put out by me keeping our room key until we were able to get out of the parking space just in case we had to remain the hotel while a tow truck came for the other car blocking us in. It could have been handled better by telling right away that happens all the time, if it actually does, and not to be overly concerned because people get out of the parking spaces when situations like that occur. It ruined the feeling for us as we drive away. It is a uniquely decorated and fun place to stay minus their parking situation."
"This was a great place for us to stay because of its location very close to the train station, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The loud music from the nearby bars was bothersome, but we were willing to put up with that because of the location, and they stopped about one o’clock. Breakfast was mainly bread. They do have a washer and dryer available after 6. And they stored our luggage until we could leave."

8/10 Good
"Nice clean hotel, and well maintained grounds, but a bit unimaginative with breakfast options. Not much beyond the fry-up options. Being an old building it was also a bit noisy with squeaky floorboards and creaky stairs."
"We were warmly welcomed by Callum at reception and were directed to our room. This room was very warm and had a radiator we couldn’t turn off. We went back to reception and were offered another room which was just perfect.
The pool and steam room were an added bonus for us and we used them on both days we were there.
The woman in the bar on Saturday night was very friendly and helpful and made us and other guests there feel very welcome.
We will certainly look at booking this hotel when we next visit Inverness"
