"I had a great time here! The staff are SO friendly here, it was wonderful. If you have mobility issues, I would not book here. The stairs are very narrow and the walk from the road to the property is a bit far, and to check out you need to go to the hotel across the street. "The only negative thing about this stay was having to LEAVE!!! This is an amazing property sitting high on the hill with the MOST AMAZING VIEWS!!! I read some reviews about this property stating that it was a struggle to walk up the hill leading to the hotel but it is not that bad. You ARE in Switzerland so there are hills everywhere. The porter service transporting our luggage up the hill on check in day was a nice touch. The very nice gentleman met us at the station and toted our bags up the hill. The hotel is so conveniently located - literally 3 minute walk from the train station in Wengen and so convenient to the cute little village. The view from our balcony was stellar!!! I really enjoyed sitting out there both in the morning and the evening and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Lauterbrunnen valley. I would return to this property again and again (and actually plan to in the future!) The breakfast is excellent and in a beautiful setting. There is a cute lawn area where you sit by the fountain and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The front desk gentleman at check in was so very helpful in giving us info on the surrounding area and helped us determine what to do since we had a really rainy day and he suggested some options. The bonus was the dog (I think a cocker spaniel) who was so cute and greeted guests at the front desk. Stop looking for a place to stay in Wengen - you will not be disappointed in this property!!!!"
