We like the hotel for its location & amenities. We stay here often. This visit we were disappointed when after a long day, we went to the bar for around 9:30 pm for a glass of wine & lite late dinner. We were told that they were closing early because it had been a slow night. Only beer was available & we could only get our food “to go”.
On previous visits the restaurant/bar staff have been amazing.

My stay at the DoubleTree-Rosemead was pleasant and fair - it had everything a good hotel should. Room was clean, shower was spacious, there was 24/7 service in the lobby, and a pool/hot tub for guests. There are elevators on both ends of the hotel, which makes it easier for guests to enter and exit their rooms, and the halls are generally quiet, with no obnoxious residents or rowdy neighbors. All of this makes the DoubleTree Hotel a great place to stay, accompanied with the fun little town of Montebello, which has a great mall to visit right across the street from the hotel. In short, when looking for an affordable but reliable hotel in/around the LA area, consider the DoubleTree-Rosemead.
