Location was good and facilities were ok. Only problem was the air conditioner which made a bit too much noise. Best part of the stay was the service from the morning reception team Ripon, Chadni and Maisha who were really helpful with everything.

The room is so small compared to the same grade room on other hotels. There are few amenities. The breakfast is not tasty. The from manager is terrible. He treated my Bangladeshi friend like a criminal.

Good place to stay if you are on a diet
If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay in a popular area, then look no further! The rooms are good and the staff is very nice and helpful. However, the food variety is limited. The food taste is okay, but the portion size is the smallest in the world - or maybe they just didn't serve me well! All in all, this is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in a popular area.

The staff is great; however, after a couple of pandemic years the gym was completely broken. There was construction right next door, which made it very loud.

Being from the US, everything about being in Dhaka is unique and sometimes strange, but The Royal Park Residence Hotel was home away from home for the week and was wonderful. The room was clean and had all typical US amenities. While the hotel is not in a new building, the interiors appeared to have been updated and modernized fairly recently (as in the photos). The electrical outlets are 220 V, but had universal sockets, so adaptors were not required. Wifi worked, staff was welcoming, gracious, and knowledgeable. Security is robust with fulltime guard and door attendant etc., The restaurant was fantastic with an extensive menu. Everything we tried was delicious. While I didn't have a chance to swim, the pool area looked like a great place to relax and maybe cool off (as in the photos).

Need improvement in service level
The overall experience hasn’t been really at the level of my expectations. Due to the price and the higher star rating (4.5), I have chosen this hotel for the first time while I came to Bangladesh before. The first impression was good, but we then have encountered several problems. I had to change the room after the first night as the aircon didn’t work. Internet also didn’t work for almost 14 hours and then has been cut again on the last day. The signal was pretty weak in the room anyway. The worst part of my stay there is probably when I have booked a car for bringing me to the airport and it came with 40 minutes delay adding a lot of stress to finally get my flight at the very last second.

I am a retired airline pilot and have stayed in many 5 star hotels worldwide and have stayed in several in Dhaka. I much prefer to stay in small hotels with good facilities and staff. The Royal Park Residence is an excellent place to stay. In a pleasant quiet area of Dhaka close to Gulshan. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and we were well looked after by helpful friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

peaceful retreat in Dhaka
The staff were very helpful and gracious, and mitigated the demands of a difficult business trip. The hotel is very informal and relaxed and a welcome relief from the traffic-blocked streets of Dhaka. The hotel could really do with an update for its decor and facilities, but it was great value for money.

Comfortable hotel in quiet location
I stayed two nights and found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room I stayed was nicely furnished- the European décor somewhat unusual in Dhaka. The place appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. Although my room was on the second floor facing the street no noise was noted. The only disadvantage was the fact that there are very few eating places in immediate walking distance- 10 minutes walk does take you to a major street but this is more commercial shops. Overall happy to recommend this place and will stay again if I return to Dhaka.

Hotel car was there even when my flight was delayed then changed at the last minute to another airline they were there!!! The staff assisted me in the airport the next morning to secure another ticket for my journey home , I was really glad I opted to stay here , they know how important there guests are UNLIKE OTHER HOTELS IN DHAKA.

Good hotel but ask for all what you was promised
The stay was good and the food too. The only point was that we've been given a standard room while our reservation was for a Superior room facing the pool. Only one room was adjusted upon our claim.

Exceptional quality, service, and value
Exceptional quality stay, excellent staff, meals and facilities. Have used a variety of hotels in Dhaka when looking for short break, and this one came highly recommended from a friend. I was NOT disappointed, and although it was a 'discounted booking' it proved excellent value for money with room upgrade included. Attentive professional staff team, high quality accommodation and good food at value for money prices. Run by a Sri Lankan family who clearly know what expatriates need and value, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. Will now definitely consider making this my preferred hotel on future trips.
