Room was great. We had loud guests beside us keeping us up but security took care of that. The only major complaint we had as well as multiple other guests is the lack of elevators & the excessive lines at check in. Actually the wait times for the elevates all day but worse at check in.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Detroit Metro Airport
Good place to pay to keep car during long term stay abroad instead of paying other private parking places. You can keep it in lot for 8 days and the shuttle is right close to hotel. Cheaper than others I explored. Front desk lady very pleasant and informative.

The Siren Hotel, an Ash Hotel
The hotel has a sexy, historic and dramatic vibe!! The room had high ceilings and was so clean with a comfortable bed. The robes are such a nice touch as well!! Wasn’t able to get a drink at the Candy Bar—make a reservation!! Highly recommend!!
