"If you want something really special in the doorstep of Wilpattu National Park, this is your answer. Our deluxe tree house suite was literally in the trees ( warning about monkeys visiting your balcony). Sampath was amazing in offering, preparing and presenting wonderful meals. What a treasure he is. Shehan was so helpful, with luggage and anything else that we wanted. Nelson was always there to greet and say goodbye. "Location to national park was great. The rooms were very ‘unique’ and rustic. The property would have been great in its heyday however appeared quite rundown and needed a good clean. A good Garden and grounds clean up would not go astray."

10/10 Excellent
Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Attentive staff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s spoiled us at the start of a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Our next hotel was a real let down after Ulagalla!!
