"The new owners were really friendly and full of local knowledge. So was Pascal the taxi driver they arranged to pick us up. But we were also given lots of privacy. The view is amazing from the studio cottage. It was well appointed and comfortable, had good wifi. It could use a memory foam for the bed though. The grounds were clean and the whole Calibishie area is safe. Dominicans are soooo friendly! "

Be advised the main beach is quite small and very rocky, however you can take a kayak over to a much longer expanse of beach if long walks on the beach are your things. "Ocean Oasis has been my go-to hotel since it opened, and it continues to deliver every time. The staff is exceptional, very warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is ideal, the property is new and beautifully maintained, and the views are simply impeccable. The food has also been consistently great. It really is the complete package…great service, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, and a wonderful location all wrapped into one. Always a pleasure staying here."
