"This is an excellent full-service dive lodge. They meet you at Sorong airport and escort you to, on and off the ferry to Wasai, then bring you to the lodge in their boat. Staff is very attentive and professional. Rooms are well kept with a/c and private decks and 20 feet from an excellent reef. Food is well-prepared. And most important their dive boats, equipment and staff were excellent. A great place to explore the Raja Ampat reefs and dive locals. "

"For staying in Sorong, there aren’t many options so this is not bad in comparison. The only other nicer hotel is the Aston which if you’re flying out the next day would probably be better since it’s so close to the airport. The room overall was ok, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. There was a small stain on the edge of the bed but wasn’t worth bringing up to staff. "Really nice place but our villa had holes in the window screens and gaps in the walls that let the mosquitoes in and the cool air out. Like several places we stayed in Indonesia there was no top sheet and the blankets were too thick for us. Also, the lighting consisted of one naked bulb on the ceiling, with no reading light. So, this would have been a great stay if I had bought mosquito repellent, a tropical sleep sack, and my head lamp. "

"i think you need to read past reviews with a grain of salt. Similar to some Amazon reviewers, there are folks that just can't be satisfied. If you've ever stayed at a Motel 6 in the US, this place is leaps and bounds better. Sure, it lacks amenities, like a shelf in the shower for shampoo and soap. And if you demand a western-style breakfast, get over it - your'e traveling....in Indonesia...and it's free. If you're a budget traveler, this place rocks"
