"My room was spacious with a beautiful view of the city. Unfortunately, the owner spoke very little English, leading to many misunderstandings. The worst part which led to a bad feeling: I asked him if he could arrange a cab to pick me up on the day of my departure.(Mind you, I was using Google Translate) He said it would be 15 Euros for the whole trip. After cab brought me to airport, I realized this was a lie. This was NOT a communication error. Owner scammed me out of 15 Euros"

Very clean, all the staff were lovely and very helpful, as were all the people in Sarajevo. Will definitely be back and we would definitely stay in this hotel again. "WE ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE VERY MUCH. IN FACT IT WAS PERFECT! THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND EXTREMELY WELL LOCATED, JUST A STEP OUT OF THE BACK DOOR TO THE OLD CITY. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND ARRANGED A TOUR FOR US TO TRAFNIK THAT WAS A HIGHLIGHT. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. WE LOVED THE FACT THAT IT WAS A FAMILY-RUN HOTEL."

"Halvat guesthouse is beautiful and has every amenity that you need for a stay. The beds are comfy, the rooms beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are wonderful. The guesthouse is in easy walking distance in the old town to shops, historical sites, restaurants and bars. Valida the landlady is lovely, so friendly and makes you feel like it's home from home. We were sad to leave but will definitely return. "
