"Sadly this was a very bad experience. The pictures make this House look twice as big as it really is. If you are planning to go 6 people- I would really not recommend it. If you are taller than 180cm, you probably won’t be able to stand up right in other rooms than the bathrooms. The beds are SO Small, and SO uncomfortable! We left two days early cause we simply didn’t get any sleep! The area is completely isolated... you can not find a supermarket or anything- so make sure to shop on the “main...

"The listing indicates the drive time to the airport. Unfortunately, this island, unlike many others in the Faroe Islands, is not connected by tunnel. It requires a ferry ride. When we were informed of this, the first two ferries on our return day were sold out. Given that we had a flight early the next morning, we were not able to stay at the property. "Wonderful breakfast. Clean hotel near groceries and walking paths. The distance from town is a tough walk uphill. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Staff here is not as friendly as other hotels we went to on the same trip to Denmark and the Faroe Islands."

"We stayed about a week in early May. The Havgrim can best be described as cozy and intimate with a handful of rooms. Beautiful sea view and easy walk into town. Breakfast is lovely - and saves you from having to get breakfast in town as there are limited restaurants. I would say depending on the direction of the wind you can hear larger trucks leaving Torshavn from your room if you are super sensitive to noise , otherwise you can hear the ocean waves. A lovely stay!"
