"The property is definitely showing it’s age. We had multiple rooms and all of them just had a film of dirt on the floors, as though they hadn’t been mopped in months. The stone in the rooms were chipping all over the place. The AC units didn’t work in some of the rooms. We lost power in two of the rooms twice. It is located on a beautiful vineyard with fruit trees that you are allowed to pick. The owner is an expat from America and very nice however he insisted that we paid cash and when we were allowed to pay credit card we had to pay at a higher exchange rate than what was agreed upon on hotels.com. "Excellent and helpful staff. Great food and service. Very insightful for helping plan some spur of the moment visits for lunch and wineries. I really enjoyed waking the vineyards with the areas with the cute dogs and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Great hiking in mountains just over an hours drive."
