"Great spot to stay in JA. The rooms were clean, the staff helpful and friendly. Decent wifi. Only notes I would give is maybe a small table for the room and an ac unit for the dining room."

"The views are magnificent! The room was large, rustic, very comfortable and clean! We stayed in White Cap 1, and it was everything we wanted and more! Imagine waking up to a full ocean front view every day! The staff was wonderful. Check In with Mrs. Ricketts went smoothly! The Jamaican breakfast every morning was wonderful. They did offer American breakfast. But who goes to Jamaica to eat pancakes? We really appreciated the included breakfast as another hotel we stayed at later actually charged for Jamaican breakfast, despite saying breakfast was included. But I digress. Note, if you go, which you should, make sure you have transportation, as nothing is within walking distance! We had lunch one day, a little pricey, but delicious! All in all the hotel is definitely worth a visit!"
The Courtleigh Hotel and Suites

"The Courtleigh Hotel is centrally located and therefore easily accessible. I enjoyed the gym and the early morning walk at Emancipation Park across the road. Generally, the whole property was clean and obviously well maintained. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, however, I didnt appreciate how late in the day my room was cleaned. All the front desk and dining room staff were exceptional and professional. I appreciated the variety of food choices at breakfast. Everything was tasty and well presented. I will definitely return to that hotel whenever I visit Kingston again."

"The S hotel redefines the hotel industry in Jamaica. This is an authentic Jamaican hotel from the entrance to the bedroom. On entering there are 3 antique cars - one that Usain Bolt owned and a replica of Bob Marley's car. Stories are told from the reservation desk to the door that leads to the bedrooms. You can look around and read the plaques on. the wall, spend some time to read the books on the desk in the lobby area. Look at the iconic figures in the lobby area. This is paying tributes to those who built this beautiful island. Most of the ladies at the front desk were pleasant and very good to communicate with. Philip (the bell attendant) was very helpful. The dining room staff went above to help. I was late for breakfast and they accommodated me "after hours." I had some work to complete and was able to get a secured WiFi. Thanks to the technician. Really appreciated his effort. Overall, very good training by the management staff at S Hotel. I like the Jamaican breakfast. I did not like the dinner - only had dinner once."

"The room was comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was exceptional, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my goddaughter’s shoes, which we brought from the USA, went missing from our room during our stay. We reported the incident, but the shoes were never returned. This was very disappointing and left us concerned about the security of our belongings. I hope the hotel will investigate incidents like this and improve its procedures to ensure guests’ property is protected."
