"Our room was absolutely beautiful, and very clean. The owner is very personable and lovely to speak with. We took our provided outdoor chairs over to a grassy area to enjoy the water view. Out of the 7 hotels we’ve stayed out on this trip, Fair Isle ranks #1. "

"This cute, clean cottage was simple but well equipped and on a quiet, well tended property with a beautiful ocean view. A covered porch with chairs and a picnic table are there for you to enjoy the outdoors. Arrive with everything you need (coffee!) as this is a rural property without amenities nearby. "We loved staying here and exploring the Cape Breton area with this as our base. The room was comfortable, and there was a Pub on the premises that served good food. Though the breakfast buffet was pricy. The view from the room was worth it. "

"This place is amazing for a quiet getaway. It’s so secluded we thought we were lost! Even GPS was confused. I guess a lot of the clientele are locals because the restaurant was packed for dinner both nights were there. It’s an older establishment,but well maintained. It’s a beautiful location and the employees were so friendly.We would definitely stay here again!"
