Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar
10/10 Excellent
"Tradition meets modern luxury. From the chandelier that greets you to marble‑lined courtyards perfect for long strolls, every corner feels magical. Our spotless room offered unmatched comfort, with air‑conditioning and sleep quality that set a new standard, plus breathtaking night views of the palace lit up in grandeur. The staff’s warmth elevated the experience, especially Akash at Shrot restaurant, who made our meals feel personal and memorable. Dining was superb, with carefully crafted dishes often accompanied by live traditional performances. Evening activities like pottery, mandala painting, and lac bangle making added charm, while kulhad chai sealed the cultural touch. Most importantly, our son was made to feel special throughout, which turned a luxurious stay into a heartfelt family memory. Hyatt Mansarovar isn’t just a hotel ... it’s an experience that lingers long after you've left."

"this is a new standard in hotel hospitality for us. It will be memorable for all of the right reasons. I saw a video on Instagram from a vlogger who was at the hotel during the off season. He was raving about the incredible service and the affordability. So, we decided to try it out. We booked a Palace suite with half board (breakfast and either lunch or dinner). I also cashed in some hotel points that made this a laughably cheap stay for us. When we got to the hotel, we were upgraded to a Palace suite with a plunge pool. It was exceedingly nice. The hotel also assigns a "butler" to each room. We got Dev. He was also incredible. He was proactive when we weren't contacting him and very quick to respond when we did have reason to contact him. This is another level of service we've never experienced before. The breakfast and dinners were buffets, so there was plenty of choice. But I will say that, at least at dinner, there were more choices that were Indian dishes...and some quick chilli hot. Service in the restaurant was also above and beyond expectations. I will name a few of the people who made our experience outstanding: Kumari, Ajay and Nima. I'd love to say that we'll make the Leela Palace an annual getaway. But, I'm afraid that this was such a great experience that we may be disappointed next time. Our expectations may just be too high!"

"While the property is beautiful and well-maintained, a few aspects of the experience fell short of expectations considering the premium pricing. The food options were quite limited, and the taste seemed intentionally toned down to cater to international preferences. Ironically, many visitors come to India hoping to experience authentic Indian cuisine, flavors, culture, and hospitality. The overall dining experience, including the music and ambience, felt more aligned with international trends than with the warmth and richness of Indian hospitality. As we were celebrating our anniversary, I had expected the hotel to take note of it proactively, but I had to remind the staff to arrange a cake. Another disappointment was that all three restaurants are located indoors, with none offering lake-facing dining. Given the stunning surroundings, this felt like a missed opportunity to create a truly memorable dining experience. The pool area was also smaller than expected. While there was seating around the pool and within our suite, it did not feel particularly comfortable or practical for spending extended periods relaxing by the water. For a luxury property, one would expect thoughtfully designed lounging spaces where guests can comfortably unwind and enjoy the views. The landscaping is aesthetically pleasing, but most of the trees appear to have been planted primarily for visual appeal rather than functionality. There was very little natural shade available, making it difficult"
